Arogya Manthan 2026 to Unveil Secure Health Data Environment, Claims Tools
India’s National Health Authority plans to present a Secure Data Environment and several digital health tools at Arogya Manthan 2026 in New Delhi on September 25, the Health Ministry announced Thursday. The event marks eight years of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and five years of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Developed with the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru, the proposed environment is intended to let approved users analyse de-identified health data or run code inside an isolated NHA system. The ministry says outputs would be reviewed before release. It describes the project as a way to support research, planning and responsible AI work while protecting personal information.
Other planned launches include a National Healthcare Providers Registry mobile app, a guide for health insurers using the National Health Claims Exchange, a model digital health facility guide and a framework for automatic adjudication of PM-JAY claims.
The ministry says PM-JAY covers more than 60 crore people and has facilitated over 13 crore hospital admissions. It reports more than 97.8 crore Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts as of September 1. The event is also expected to include discussions of claim processing, healthcare quality and interoperability.
