Indian Universities Slip in QS Asia Rankings, Report Says

Indian higher-education institutions face renewed questions about their standing in a major regional university ranking.

The Indian Express reported that Indian universities had slipped in the QS Asia rankings, with no IIT or IISc listed in the top 50 in that edition. Rankings can change with methodology, participating institutions and the weight given to research, reputation and internationalisation.

Prospective students should avoid judging a university solely by one league table. Course quality, faculty, placement outcomes, research fit and affordability remain essential factors in any admissions decision.
