PlayStation Plus October 2026 Game Catalog: Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk Lead the Lineup
Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for October 2026, led by Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk. Most of the new games arrive on October 20 for Extra and Premium members. Mycopunk joins the catalog on the same day it launches on PS5, while Premium members also get Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition.
October 2026 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog games
These seven games are included in the Extra and Premium Game Catalog. The dates below apply to the US lineup:
- Mafia: The Old Country — PS5; October 20
- Horizon Forbidden West — PS5 and PS4; October 20
- Mycopunk — PS5; October 20
- Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 — PS5 and PS4; October 27
- The Midnight Walk — PS5; available from October 14
- Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition — PS5 and PS4; October 27
- Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game — PS5; October 27
Mafia: The Old Country is a story-driven action game set in early 20th-century Sicily. Players follow Enzo Favara as he tries to establish himself within a crime family. Horizon Forbidden West brings Aloy’s machine-filled adventure back to the catalog; Sony identifies it as a PlayStation Plus re-release.
For players looking for something new to play with friends, Mycopunk is a mission-based shooter with four-player co-op. Its PS5 release and Game Catalog debut are both set for October 20 worldwide.
The October lineup also covers horror, fantasy and racing. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 sends players deeper into the Playtime Co. factory, while The Midnight Walk is a dark fantasy adventure with a handcrafted clay look. The latter can be played on a PS5 screen or with PS VR2.
Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition offers a role-playing adventure, and Monster Energy Supercross 25 adds motorcycle racing. In the US, both arrive on October 27 alongside Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2.
Which October games require PlayStation Plus Premium?
Two more games join the Premium lineup on October 20. Dino Crisis 2, available on PS5 and PS4, brings Regina and Dylan’s dinosaur-survival adventure to the service. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, also listed for PS5 and PS4, lets players build and manage amusement parks.
Premium members get access to the Extra Game Catalog as well as the Premium lineup. Essential members do not get Game Catalog access through their Essential subscription alone.
When can subscribers play the new games?
The main release date is Tuesday, October 20, 2026, but it does not apply to every title. The Midnight Walk became available in the US on October 14. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition and Monster Energy Supercross 25 are scheduled for October 27.
Sony says Game Catalog and Premium selections can differ by region, so subscribers outside the US should check their local PlayStation Store for availability. Catalog games are accessible with the required active membership, but they can later leave the service.
Are these the October PlayStation Plus monthly games?
No. This is the separate Game Catalog update for Extra and Premium subscribers. October’s monthly games are F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. Sony made those available to PlayStation Plus members from October 6 and says they can be claimed through November 2.
Sony has also announced Premium game trials for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II starting October 20. Those trials are a separate benefit, not additions to the full Game Catalog lineup.
