The Traitors Telugu Start Date and Contestants: All 20 Players in Teja Sajja’s Prime Video Show
The Traitors Telugu starts on Thursday, October 15, 2026, on Prime Video. Actor Teja Sajja hosts the 10-episode reality series, which features 20 announced contestants, including singer Chinmayi Sripada and actors Harsha Vardhan and Pragathi Mahavadi. New episodes are scheduled for Thursdays at 12 noon Indian Standard Time, and the show will be available in Telugu with English subtitles.
Prime Video revealed the full lineup in a trailer released on October 6. The Telugu edition brings the deception-based competition to a new cast: some players are secretly designated Traitors, while the others, known as Innocents, must work out who they are.
When does The Traitors Telugu release?
The premiere date is October 15, 2026. Prime Video says the 10 episodes will be released across four weeks, with new episodes arriving each Thursday at noon IST. That is a weekly release schedule rather than an announcement that all 10 episodes will be available on the first day. The show is a Prime Video streaming release, not a scheduled television broadcast.
Teja Sajja, known for the film Hanu-Man, makes his reality-show hosting debut with the series. SOL Productions produces the Telugu edition.
Who are the 20 contestants in The Traitors Telugu?
The announced lineup brings together performers, creators and personalities from other fields. The 20 contestants are:
- Chinmayi Sripada
- Harsha Vardhan
- Pragathi Mahavadi
- Shreedevi Chowdary
- Nikhil Vijayendra Simha
- Vidyu Raman
- Vishnu Oi
- Shravya Varma
- Dr Meghanath Reddy
- Mouneesha Chowdary
- Sweekar Agasthi
- Ashika Padukone
- Varsha D’Souza
- Pranav, also known as Abhinavakavi
- SS Vardhan
- Rahat Achanta
- Gaurav Sunil
- Sai Ronak
- Puppala Dhanunjaya
- Phalguni Bangera
The list identifies who is taking part, but it does not reveal which contestants are Traitors. That distinction is central to the game, so a contestant’s name appearing in the trailer should not be taken as a clue to their secret role.
How does The Traitors Telugu work?
The series follows the central format of The Traitors: a small number of players conceal their identities as Traitors while the Innocents try to identify them. Contestants must decide whom to trust as they form alliances, face eliminations and attempt to stay in the competition. For the Traitors, the challenge is to avoid detection while working against the other players.
The Telugu show follows two Hindi seasons of The Traitors on Prime Video, but it has its own host and contestant lineup. Viewers looking for Teja Sajja’s edition should search for The Traitors Telugu on Prime Video when it premieres on October 15.
