Imphal Adoption Workshop Puts Child-Protection Coordination in Focus
India’s Central Adoption Resource Authority held a legal adoption awareness workshop in Imphal, Manipur, on 23 September 2026 with the state’s Department of Social Welfare and State Adoption Resource Agency. Around 150 participants attended, according to the Ministry of Women and Child Development. The event addressed risks from unregulated adoption arrangements and the responsibilities of institutions that encounter children in need of protection.
